21 Day Devotion Day 4: Investing in God

This is day 4 of our 21 Days of Prayer, Fasting, and Personal Devotion. The first day was on Sunday, March 26th and we will celebrate on the last day, Easter Sunday, April 16th

Matthew 6:33  But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

We live in a pretty busy world. Very few of us have any time for extra things. The truth is, we all have 168 hours in the week and each of us has to spend that time wisely. The key to having quality time with God is making that time a priority in our lives.

None of us really has time to waste. That’s why we have to live out of our priorities instead of what is convenient. Instead of wasting time, we need to invest it. Jesus tells us if we put Him first in our life, we will have more time for what is truly important.

As you ramp up your devotions in this season, you will find Holy Spirit helping you to discern what is an investment and what is wasteful spending. Continue spending your time, effort, money, and attention on the things of the Kingdom of God, and you will discover God will add to your life all the other things you need, including time.
