Revival Life Church is in the midst of 21 days of prayer and fasting, an event we are calling AWAKENING. Churches the world over are joining in a time of prayer and fasting at the beginning of the year. Each morning we will have a new prayer direction posted here. No matter where in the world you are, we invite you to pray with us for Revival Life Church. Over a dozen people from our house were asked to write a prayer direction for a day.
Tracey Thomas the author of today’s devotion.
Titus2:2-8 2 Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness. 3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, 4 and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. 6 Likewise, urge the younger men to be self-controlled. 7 Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, 8 and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.
On the 17th day of our prayer and fasting, pray that the older men and women of Revival Life church will walk in righteousness and set a good example for the younger men and women to follow. Pray that older brothers and sisters in Christ will teach the younger to walk in obedience to God and do good works. And pray that the younger ones would be humble and teachable. Pray that the leaders would raise up revivalists who are not only anointed, but are men and women of integrity. Pray that the people of Revival Life Church will have a reputation of being good husbands and wives, loving parents, and exceptional employees and business owners.
